Academic Projects

These are some of the game projects I have worked on with different teams during my time as a student

Witchpunk (2020-2022)

Unreal Engine

Graphics and Gameplay Programming

  • Built and distributed a custom source build  of Unreal Engine 4.25

    • The build implements a custom shading model that was used to realize the intended style of the game

  • Worked on multiple gameplay elements including movement mechanics and enemy behaviors

FFLAP (2020)

Custom Engine

Graphics and Tools Programming

  • Wrote the OpenGL rendering system for our custom engine

  • Created a level editor for designers to create content

  • Contributed heavily to the particle system, expanding on the ideas I used in developing previous systems

Ascending Ape (2019)

Custom Engine

Gameplay and VFX Programming

  • Worked on expanding core engine code

    • This project was developed on top of a simple framework provided by our school​

  • Created the versatile particle system used in-game

  • Helped to implement gameplay features such as powerups and movement
